我们将“无止境室内设计”项目视为开发竹子潜在价值的机会——以意想不到的创新方式运用竹子。竹子是一种传统的亚洲建筑材料,它不仅价格便宜,而且对环境的适应性强。因此,这套公寓得以成为测试这种材料的实验室。 4}

Infinite Bamboo/KOo E^Ks;Q

We approached the Infinite Interior project as an opportunity to explore the possibility of using bamboo-a traditional Asian building material that is both inexpensive and environmentally sustainable-in unexpected and innovative ways. The apartment unit is therefore treated as a laboratory for testing this material. Literally everything in the unit is made of bamboo, including most floors, ceilings, window coverings, furnishings, and most kitchen and bathroom appliances. #{ UeYg3I`M

We have also designed two new space-dividing systems, both made of bamboo: one is a folding partition that expands from a central node to create walls and corridors; the other is a curving partition that unrolls from a cylindrical column to create sinuous screens. These systems provide the apartment's residents with the flexibility to design their space according to changing needs.
